Editorial commission

This week has been very busy, working on an educational commission for a new client. 

 

How nerves work

Started a new sketch about the central nervous system.

Had a total rethink about the book today. The cover just wasn't working. It was too aggressive.

Spent the evening working on the text and it is starting to work.  It's a slow process and it is beginning to form nicely. I am trying to achieve a cross between language play, ideas about the wider world, how the mind and the body work, (coupled with the story), which is about how we tend to over complicate things, when all that matters is simple friendship.

Latest book

My latest book is almost 2/3 complete. I gave myself this year to work on it and getting through it a little bit at a time after work. Very pleased with how it is looking. It's a lovely story about how these days the pressure to be something is so great. But actually, all that is needed is to be yourself. Looking for a publisher soon. Fingers crossed.
